Through-Wall Walk-in Combination Refrigeration, Freezer, and Dry Storage Unit
This 16’x24’ through-wall walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry storage combination unit was custom built for a foodservice operation in Mishawaka, Indiana. This specific client replaced an existing older unit to not only provide more refrigerated storage but to also free up interior kitchen space.
Dry Storage Compartment
In addition to refrigerated storage solutions, Polar King offers Dry Storage Walk-in and Trailer units. Constructed with our seamless fiberglass design, each unit is NSF approved and features an anti-microbial finish to ensure a sanitary environment.
3/4 OSB Flooring
On the interior of the unit, our client also elected to upgrade to 3/4” keg duty flooring. This increased floor load enables heavier products such as large food deliveries to be stored inside the walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry storage combo.
Custom Exterior and Paint
The exterior of this unit features a sloped roof and a custom paint job. Our client simply provided us with a paint code from a national paint manufacturer, which we matched at no additional charge. In this instance, our client matched the existing exterior color of their building which is sandy brown.
Optional Equipment
Other optional equipment on this application includes ¾ OSB flooring, a 2HP sub-freezer, vinyl strip door curtains, and a sloped roof.
