Architectural Series Design Package
This commercial walk-in cooler/freezer combination unit boasts a distinctive color and brick-patterned exterior. Our client had a specific need for an exterior finish that seamlessly matched with their existing building’s aesthetics. Polar King provides the Architectural Series design package, facilitating the alignment of the walk-in unit’s exterior with the building’s design. This includes the incorporation of features like brick, stucco, or tile finishes, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing integration.
Meeting Stringent Hurricane Zone Requirements
Due to its proximity to the coast, the elementary school necessitated a walk-in unit capable of enduring the powerful forces of hurricanes. To fulfill this requirement, we incorporated an on-site installation of a hurricane anchor kit. It’s worth noting that all Polar King walk-in units hold Miami-Dade County product control approval. This endorsement confirms that every Polar King product is meticulously designed to adhere to the rigorous standards of the high-velocity hurricane zone as stipulated in the Florida building code, as evidenced by Miami-Dade NOA No. 21-0914.04.
Standard Equipment
In addition to its custom features, this application comes equipped with a range of standard amenities. These include a door closer with a built-in door sweep seal, an external Hasp lock for added security, a lockable door latch for convenience, and a rain cap positioned above the exterior doors to protect against adverse weather conditions.
