Free-Standing Combination Refrigeration and Freezer Unit
This 10’x20’ free-standing Polar King walk-in cooler freezer combo unit was custom built for a pizza restaurant in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. This particular unit features individual walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer compartments as well as a highly customized exterior.
Architectural Series Design Package
This commercial walk-in cooler/freezer combination unit has a distinctive multicolored brick finish. Our client required a specific exterior finish in order to match the look and design of their current building. Polar King offers an Architectural Series design package. This enables matching to the existing design of a building to add features such as brick, stucco, or tile finishes to the exterior of the walk-in unit.
3/4 OSB Flooring and Custom Doors
On the interior of the unit, our client also elected to upgrade to 3/4” keg duty flooring. This increased floor load enables heavier products such as beer kegs to be stored inside the walk-in cooler freezer combo. To enter the either compartment, we have installed two 36-inch doors.
Standard Equipment
Other standard equipment on this application includes a remote thermometer, sweep seal, low ambient controls, and a defrost timer.
