Polar King has released its new
Design Your Own Walk-in tool, offering a 24/7 connection with customers wishing to initiate walk-in layout and design. This extensive tool was created over a period of several months and required hundreds of hours of programming to provide all of the details the company wanted to make available. Currently customers can choose from several pre-determined configurations or literally start with a blank slate; in either event, users can configure
walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers to their exact specifications and choose from a list of options they may be considering.
Polar King's Director of Sales & Marketing, Todd Ellinger, said "our goal here is to allow visitors to our website a chance to get the ball rolling while they're still online, especially if they're visiting the site outside of normal business hours.
Reaching us online is certainly nothing new, but the ability to provide us with a relatively detailed layout makes things easier for both parties. It's actually kind of fun to use, at least if you're interested in a new walk-in."
The Design Your Own Walk-in tool allows features such as adding and removing doors, walls, rooms and even specifying operating temperatures. Once complete, the user is offered a chance to see a 3D model of the unit they just designed, along with a walk-through feature detailing the inside. Ellinger also added that "for several years we've made it a high priority to respond to e-mail and website requests very quickly and a response to this format will be no different. In fact, it's not uncommon for a company representative to respond to these requests late into the night or on the weekend, but as a general rule, a response should be expected well within 24 hours."
The company plans to release further upgrades to this tool in the coming months, which will highlight Polar King
refrigerated trailers.
